Fuel Your Fitness: Start Your Day with a Banana-Avocado Protein Smoothie

Whether you’re watching calories and trying to lean-up, or you’re bulking up and trying to build muscle, getting a macro-balanced mix of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates is the key to fitness success. I like to start my day right with a Banana and Avocado Protein Smoothie. The key to the flavor profile of this recipe is the vanilla flavored whey protein powder, which provides just the right balance to the creamy avocado. I’m a smoothie junkie and keep Gold Standard Vanilla Ice Cream Whey Powder on hand, as it is a versatile mix in with berries, peanutbutter, bananas, and, yes, avocados.   • 2 medium bananas sliced or chunked
